1. whiteboard (dry-erase board)

   老师在白板上写字。 lǎoshī zài báibǎn shàng xiězì — The teacher writes on the whiteboard.

2. tabula rasa (a mind not imprinted by experience)

   在讨论之前，他像一块白板，没有预设立场。 zài tǎolùn zhīqián tā xiàng yīkuài báibǎn méiyǒu yùshèlìchǎng — Before the discussion he was like a tabula rasa, without preset positions.

3. blank slate (something new or unmarked, ready to be filled)

   我们有一块白板可以尽情设计这个项目的每个细节。 wǒmen yǒu yīkuài báibǎn kěyǐ jìnqíng shèjì zhège xiàngmù dì měigè xìjié — We have a blank slate where we can design every detail of this project.
