   白天我们去公园散步。 báitiān wǒmen qù gōngyuán sànbù — We go for a walk in the park during the daytime.

2. during the day (as opposed to at night)

   这个地方白天很热，晚上比较凉快。 zhège dìfāng báitiān hěn rè wǎnshàng bǐjiào liángkuài — This place is very hot during the day and cooler at night.
