画面 — huàmiàn

1. scene; tableau (a staged or composed scene, esp. in art or drama)

   画面布置得很有层次，观众看得很舒服。 huàmiàn bùzhì dé hěn yǒu céngcì guānzhòng kàndé hěn shūfú — The tableau is composed with rich layers; the audience finds it pleasing to watch.

2. picture; image (a still visual representation)

   这张画面保存得很清楚，可以放大检查细节。 zhè zhāng huàmiàn bǎocún dé hěn qīngchǔ kěyǐ fàngdà jiǎnchá xìjié — This image is saved very clearly; you can zoom in to check details.

3. screen (display on a computer, phone or TV)

   电视画面突然卡住了，看不见下一帧。 diànshì huàmiàn tūrán kǎzhù le kànbújiàn xià yīzhēn — The TV screen froze suddenly; you can't see the next frame.

4. frame (one frame of a motion picture)

   导演要求每一画面都要精确对好光线。 dǎoyǎn yāoqiú měi yī huàmiàn dōu yào jīngquè duì hǎo guāngxiàn — The director demanded that each frame have precisely adjusted lighting.

5. field of view; what appears within a visual frame

   摄影师改变镜头焦距以扩大画面的视野。 shèyǐngshī gǎibiàn jìngtóu jiāojù yǐ kuòdà huàmiàn de shìyě — The photographer changed the lens focal length to widen the field of view.
