理性 — lǐxìng

1. rationality; reason (the quality of being reasonable or logical)

   在做决定时要保持理性。 zài zuò juédìng shí yào bǎochí lǐxìng — When making decisions you should remain rational.

2. rational; reasonable (showing clear, sensible judgment)

   他是个很理性的人，不容易冲动。 tā shì gè hěn lǐxìng de rén bùróng yì chōngdòng — He is a very rational person and doesn't act impulsively.
