   她明天要在音乐会上进行一首独唱。 tā míngtiān yào zài yīnyuèhuì shàng jìnxíng yīshǒu dúchàng — She will perform a solo at the concert tomorrow.

2. to solo; to sing (or perform) alone

   那位歌手在第二段独唱，大家都鼓掌了。 nàwèi gēshǒu zài dìèrduàn dúchàng dàjiā dōu gǔzhǎng le — The singer sang a solo in the second part and everyone applauded.
