爵士 — juéshì

1. knight (feudal title)

   他在小说里被封为爵士。 tā zài xiǎoshuō lǐ bèi fēngwèi juéshì — He was made a knight in the novel.

2. Sir (honorific title, e.g. in translations of British titles)

   译文中常用爵士来对应英文的 Sir。 yìwén zhōng chángyòng juéshì lái duìyìng yīngwén de S i r — In translations, jueshi is often used to render the English honorific 'Sir'.

3. jazz (music genre; loanword)

   我很喜欢听爵士音乐。 wǒ hěn xǐhuān tīng juéshìyīnyuè — I really like listening to jazz music.
