   请照老师说的做。 qǐng zhào lǎoshī shuō de zuò — Please do as the teacher said.

2. to shine; to illuminate; to reflect; to look at (one's reflection)

   水面上照出蓝天和白云的影子。 shuǐmiàn shàng zhàochū lántiān hé báiyún de yǐngzi — The water reflects the blue sky and white clouds.

3. to take (a photo)

   帮我照一张相好吗？ bāng wǒ zhào yīzhāng xiānghǎo ma — Could you take a photo of me?

4. photo; as requested; as before (in set phrases)

   这是我昨天照的照片。 zhè shì wǒ zuótiān zhào de zhàopiān — This is the photo I took yesterday.
