   她最近很烦恼，老是睡不好。 tā zuìjìn hěn fánnǎo lǎo shì shuì bùhǎo — She's been very worried lately and often can't sleep.

2. annoyed; bothered; distressed (state/feeling)

   他看上去很烦恼，不想说话。 tā kànshàngqù hěn fánnǎo bùxiǎng shuōhuà — He looks very troubled and doesn't want to talk.

3. worry; troubles; distress (noun)

   这件事成了他们最大的烦恼。 zhèjiàn shì chéng le tāmen zuìdà de fánnǎo — This matter has become their biggest worry.
