1. hotpot (a communal Chinese meal where ingredients are cooked at the table in a simmering pot)

   我们周末去吃火锅吧。 wǒmen zhōumò qù chīhuǒguō ba — Let's go eat hotpot this weekend.

2. (basketball) a blocked shot; a block (when a defender deflects or stops an opponent's shot)

   他在最后一秒被封盖了，这个火锅改变了比赛。 tā zài zuìhòu yīmiǎo bèi fēnggài le zhège huǒguō gǎibiàn le bǐsài — He got blocked in the final second — that block changed the game.
