   他的性格很漫，不太在意别人的看法。 tā de xìnggé hěn màn bù tài zàiyì biérén de kànfǎ — His personality is very free/unrestrained; he doesn't pay much attention to others' opinions.

2. in an unrestrained way; loosely; (used in compounds to mean spreading or extensive)

   他漫不经心地回答了问题。 tā mànbùjīngxīn dì huídá le wèntí — He answered the question carelessly/unconcernedly.

3. to inundate; to flood; to overflow

   连日暴雨把山谷漫成一片汪洋。 liánrì bàoyǔ bǎ shāngǔ màn chéng yīpiànwāngyáng — Continuous heavy rain inundated the valley, turning it into a stretch of water.
