   技术人员正在测试新系统。 jìshùrényuán zhèngzài cèshì xīn xìtǒng — The technicians are testing the new system.

2. a test; an examination

   明天有一次重要的测试，大家要准备好。 míngtiān yǒu yīcì zhòngyào de cèshì dàjiā yào zhǔnbèi hǎo — There's an important test tomorrow; everyone should be prepared.

3. (computing) beta (a test version of software)

   我们刚发布了软件的公开测试版，欢迎大家下载测试。 wǒmen gāng fābù le ruǎnjiàn de gōngkāi cèshìbǎn huānyíng dàjiā xiàzài cèshì — We just released the public beta of the software; everyone is welcome to download and test it.
