汇合 — huìhé

   这条河在城外与另一条河汇合。 zhètiáo hé zài chéngwài yǔ lìng yītiáo hé huìhé — This river meets (flows into) another river outside the city.

2. to converge; to meet; to join together; to fuse

   队伍在广场中心汇合，然后一起出发。 duìwǔ zài guǎngchǎng zhōngxīn huìhé ránhòu yìqǐ chūfā — The groups met at the center of the square and then set off together.
