1. bubble (in liquid); air pocket

   水里有很多气泡。 shuǐlǐ yǒu hěnduō qìpào — There are many bubbles in the water.

2. blister (e.g., in metal or paint)

   金属表面出现了气泡，可能是焊接问题。 jīnshǔbiǎomiàn chūxiàn le qìpào kěnéng shì hànjiē wèntí — Bubbles appeared on the metal surface; it might be a welding problem.

3. sparkling; carbonated (of beverages)

   这瓶水有点儿气泡，不是完全平的。 zhè píng shuǐ yǒudiǎnér qìpào búshì wánquán píng de — This bottle of water has some bubbles; it's not completely flat.
