1. justice; righteousness

   法律应当维护正义，保护无辜者。 fǎlǜ yīngdāng wéihùzhèngyì bǎohù wúgūzhě — The law should uphold justice and protect the innocent.

2. just; righteous; morally right

   他的决定很正义，但也很难执行。 tā de juédìng hěn zhèngyì dàn yě hěn nán zhíxíng — His decision is righteous, but also hard to carry out.
