1. to flaunt; to ostentatiously display (one's achievements, possessions, etc.)

   他总是在朋友圈里标榜自己的成功。 tā zǒngshì zài péngyǒu quānlǐ biāobǎng zìjǐ de chénggōng — He is always flaunting his success on Moments (friend circle).

2. to advertise or promote (something) with exaggerated praise; to tout

   这种宣传标榜该产品有很多功效，但缺乏证据。 zhèzhǒng xuānchuán biāobǎng gāi chǎnpǐn yǒu hěnduō gōngxiào dàn quēfá zhèngjù — This publicity touts many benefits of the product, but lacks evidence.
