1. to relax; to become less tense

   做完运动后，肌肉逐渐松弛。 zuò wán yùndòng hòu jīròu zhújiàn sōngchí — After exercising, the muscles gradually relaxed.

2. relaxed; not tense

   会议的气氛很松弛，大家都很放松地交谈。 huìyì de qìfēn hěn sōngchí dàjiā dōu hěn fàngsōng dì jiāotán — The meeting's atmosphere was relaxed; everyone spoke casually.

3. limp; lax (e.g., loose, insufficiently strict)

   这项制度执行得太松弛，问题难以杜绝。 zhèxiàng zhìdù zhíxíng dé tài sōngchí wèntí nányǐ dùjué — This policy is enforced too laxly; problems are hard to eliminate.
