1. to intend; to have the intention to do something

   我有意参加那个项目。 wǒ yǒuyì cānjiā nàge xiàngmù — I intend to take part in that project.

2. intentionally; deliberately

   他不是走错了路，而是有意迟到。 tā búshì zǒucuò le lù érshì yǒuyì chídào — He didn't take the wrong route; he deliberately arrived late.

3. interested in (something/someone)

   我对那份工作有意。 wǒ duì nàfèn gōngzuò yǒuyì — I am interested in that job.
