1. final; last; ultimate (in sequence or order)

   他是最后一个人。 tā shì zuìhòu yígè rén — He is the last person.

2. the end; the last part (as a noun)

   最后我们都同意了这个方案。 zuìhòu wǒmen dōu tóngyì le zhège fāngàn — In the end we all agreed on the plan.

3. finally; in the end (as an adverb indicating conclusion)

   我们最后决定去北京。 wǒmen zuìhòu juédìng qù běijīng — We finally decided to go to Beijing.
