曝光 — bàoguāng

1. to expose (photography) — to allow light to hit the film/sensor

   这张照片曝光过度，细节都被冲掉了。 zhè zhāng zhàopiān bàoguāng guòdù xìjié dōu bèi chōngdiào le — This photo is overexposed; the details are washed out.

2. (fig.) to expose (a scandal) — to reveal wrongdoing or secret information

   记者曝光了公司领导的贪腐问题。 jìzhě bàoguāng le gōngsī lǐngdǎo de tānfǔ wèntí — The journalist exposed corruption among the company's leaders.

3. (advertising) exposure — the amount/level of public visibility an ad or brand receives

   这次活动为品牌带来了大量的曝光。 zhècì huódòng wèi pǐnpái dàilái le dàliàng de bàoguāng — This event brought a lot of exposure to the brand.
