1. muddle-headed; dizzy; confused in the head

   他喝醉了，头脑昏昏的，什么也想不清楚。 tā hēzuì le tóunǎo hūnhūn de shénme yě xiǎng bù qīngchǔ — He drank too much and feels muddle-headed; he can't think clearly about anything.

2. twilight; dusk; dim light (period between day and night)

   山下的村庄在昏暗的暮色中慢慢出现。 shānxià de cūnzhuāng zài hūnàn de mùsè zhōng mànmàn chūxiàn — The village below the mountain slowly appeared in the dim twilight.

3. to faint; to lose consciousness (suddenly)

   她看到血就昏过去，需要有人照顾。 tā kàndào xuè jiù hūnguòqù xūyào yǒurén zhàogù — She faints at the sight of blood and will need someone to take care of her.
