旧 — jiù

1. old (not new); opposite of 新

   这是一件旧衣服。 zhè shì yījiàn jiùyīfú — This is an old piece of clothing.

2. former; previous (e.g., former name, previous position)

   这是旧地址，不再使用。 zhè shì jiù dìzhǐ bùzài shǐyòng — This is the former address; it is no longer used.

3. worn or showing signs of age (worn out)

   那把旧椅子坐起来有点摇晃。 nà bǎ jiù yǐzi zuò qǐlái yǒudiǎn yáohuàng — That old chair wobbles a bit when you sit on it.
