1. hostile; showing opposition or unfriendly feelings

   两国之间的关系变得越来越敌视。 liǎngguózhījiān de guānxì biàndé yuèláiyuè díshì — Relations between the two countries have become increasingly hostile.

2. malevolence; antagonism; a state or feeling of hostility

   他的言论充满了对政府的敌视。 tā de yánlùn chōngmǎn le duì zhèngfǔ de díshì — His remarks were full of antagonism toward the government.

3. to view as an enemy; to stand against; to treat as hostile

   不要轻易敌视不同意见的人，先听他们的理由。 búyào qīngyì díshì bùtóng yìjiàn de rén xiān tīng tāmen de lǐyóu — Don't immediately view people with different opinions as enemies; listen to their reasons first.
