1. to change one's costume (for a performance); to re-dress

   演员在幕间要快改装才能按时出场。 yǎnyuán zài mùjiān yào kuài gǎizhuāng cáinéng ànshí chūchǎng — The actor has to change costume quickly during the intermission to appear on time.

2. to repackage; to change packaging or presentation of a product

   公司决定改装产品包装以吸引年轻消费者。 gōngsī juédìng gǎizhuāng chǎnpǐnbāozhuāng yǐ xīyǐn niánqīng xiāofèizhě — The company decided to repackage the product to attract young consumers.

3. to remodel, refit, modify or convert (e.g., a vehicle, machine, building)

   他把旧卡车改装成了移动咖啡车。 tā bǎ jiù kǎchē gǎizhuāngchéng le yídòng kāfēi chē — He converted the old truck into a mobile coffee truck.
