接触 — jiēchù

1. to touch (physically)

   别随便接触伤口，会感染的。 bié suíbiàn jiēchù shāngkǒu huì gǎnrǎn de — Don't touch the wound casually; it can get infected.

2. to contact; to get in touch with (person/organisation)

   你可以通过电子邮件接触客服部门。 nǐ kěyǐ tōngguò diànziyóujiàn jiēchù kèfúbù mén — You can contact customer service by email.

3. to have access to; to come into contact with (materials, information)

   未经许可不得接触机密文件。 wèijīngxǔkě bùdé jiēchù jīmìwénjiàn — No one may access confidential documents without permission.

4. to be in touch with; to keep in contact (state)

   虽然搬走了，我们还是经常接触。 suīrán bānzǒu le wǒmen háishì jīngcháng jiēchù — Although we moved away, we still keep in touch often.
