   他向公司提出挑战，要把项目做得更好。 tā xiàng gōngsī tíchū tiǎozhàn yào bǎ xiàngmù zuò dé gènghǎo — He challenged the company, saying the project should be done better.

2. a challenge; a difficult task or obstacle to be overcome

   这次考试对我来说是个很大的挑战。 zhècì kǎoshì duì wǒ láishuō shì gè hěndà de tiǎozhàn — This exam is a big challenge for me.
