指向 — zhǐxiàng

1. to point towards; to aim at; to indicate the direction of

   他用手指指向那栋大楼。 tāyòng shǒuzhǐ zhǐxiàng nàdòng dàlóu — He pointed (with his finger) toward that building.

2. the direction indicated; the target or orientation (what something is aimed at)

   这次政策的指向是支持小微企业。 zhècì zhèngcè de zhǐxiàng shì zhīchí xiǎo wēi qǐyè — The direction/aim of this policy is to support small and micro enterprises.
