1. to undertake; to take on (responsibility or a task)

2. to carry; to shoulder (a load)

   两个挑夫把木箱担到车上。 liǎnggè tiāofū bǎ mùxiāng dān dào chēshàng — Two porters carried the crate onto the truck.
