抡 — lūn

1. to swing (one's arms or a heavy object)

   他把大锤抡起来，一下砸在地上。 tā bǎ dàchuí lūn qǐlái yīxià zá zài dìshàng — He swung the big hammer up and smashed it down on the ground.

2. to wave (a weapon or fists); to brandish

   他愤怒地抡起拳头冲了上去。 tā fènnù dì lūn qǐ quántou chōngle shàngqù — He angrily swung his fists and charged forward.

3. to fling (money)

   他在台上豪气地把钱抡出了几张。 tā zài táishàng háoqì dì bǎ qián lūn chū le jǐzhāng — He generously flung a few bills out from the stage.
