1. to fold; to bend (so something can be made smaller or stored)

   请把椅子折叠起来，放到角落里。 qǐng bǎ yǐzi zhédié qǐlái fàngdào jiǎoluòlǐ — Please fold the chair and put it in the corner.

2. folding; collapsible (describing objects that can be folded)

   他有一辆折叠自行车，带上地铁很方便。 tā yǒu yīliàng zhédié zìxíngchē dàishàng dìtiě hěn fāngbiàn — He has a folding bicycle; it's convenient to take on the subway.
