1. heart; mind; the emotional or moral disposition (one's inner feelings or generosity)

   他心胸很宽，遇事总能包容别人。 tā xīnxiōng hěn kuān yùshì zǒngnéng bāoróng biérén — He is very broad-minded; he can always tolerate others when problems arise.

2. ambition; aspiration (one's goals or aspirations)

   他没有什么大志向，心胸比较平和。 tā méiyǒu shénme dà zhìxiàng xīnxiōng bǐjiào pínghé — He doesn't have big ambitions; his aspirations are rather modest.
