1. to pass; to spend (time)

   我们在公园里度过了一个愉快的下午。 wǒmen zài gōngyuán lǐ dùguò le yígè yúkuài de xiàwǔ — We spent a pleasant afternoon in the park.

2. to pass (through); to cross; to undergo

   难关已经度过了，现在轻松多了。 nánguān yǐjīng dùguò le xiànzài qīngsōng duō le — The difficult times have passed; things are much easier now.

3. measure; extent; degree (level or intensity)

   请控制好做事的度，别太极端。 qǐng kòngzhì hǎo zuòshì de dù bié tài jíduān — Please keep your level of action in check; do not be too extreme.

4. degree (angles, temperature, etc.)

   现在外面气温是二十五度。 xiànzài wàimiàn qìwēn shì èrshíwǔ dù — The temperature outside is 25 degrees now.

5. kilowatt-hour (unit of energy)

   这个月电费按每度五毛计算。 zhège yuè diànfèi àn měi dù wǔmáo jìsuàn — This month's electricity is billed at 0.5 yuan per kWh.
