2. (archaic) curtain hung over boat or carriage windows

   古代轿车窗口挂着幢幔，既遮风又护隐私。 gǔdài jiàochē chuāngkǒu guà zhe chuáng màn jì zhēfēng yòu hù yǐnsī — Ancient sedan chairs had curtains over the windows to block wind and protect privacy.
