帖子 — tiězi

1. card (e.g. visiting card); small written note

   那位老中医留给我的一张帖子上写着几种草药。 nàwèi lǎozhōngyī liúgěi wǒ de yīzhāng tiězi shàng xiě zhe jǐzhòng cǎoyào — The old TCM doctor left me a small card with several herbs listed.

2. invitation (card or note inviting someone)

   婚礼的帖子已经寄给所有亲朋好友。 hūnlǐ de tiězi yǐjīng jìgěi suǒyǒu qīnpénghǎoyǒu — The wedding invitations have already been sent to all relatives and friends.

3. message; note; short written communication

   我在桌上留了一帖子告诉他我已经走了。 wǒ zài zhuōshàng liú le yī tiězi gàosù tā wǒ yǐjīng zǒu le — I left a note on the table telling him I had already left.
