1. exactly; precisely; to emphasize identity or exactness

   这就是我要的东西。 zhè jiùshì wǒ yào de dōngxī — This is exactly what I want.

2. only; simply; just (used to downplay, give a reason or state a simple fact)

   我就是不想去。 wǒ jiùshì bùxiǎng qù — I just don't want to go.

3. even; even if (used correlatively, often paired with 也 'yě' or 可 'kě' to mark concession or emphasis)

   就是下雨我也要去。 jiùshì xiàyǔ wǒ yě yào qù — Even if it rains, I'll go.
