2. to lack; to be missing

   这份报告少了一页。 zhèfèn bàogào shǎo le yīyè — This report is missing a page.

3. to stop (doing something); to cease

   医生让他少喝酒，注意身体。 yīshēng ràng tā shǎo hējiǔ zhùyì shēntǐ — The doctor told him to drink less alcohol and take care.

4. seldom; rarely

   他少来参加聚会。 tā shǎo lái cānjiā jùhuì — He seldom comes to the gatherings.
