2. well-matched adversary; (a) match (someone of equal ability)

   两队实力相当，是一场难分胜负的对手之争。 liǎngduì shílì xiāngdāng shì yīcháng nánfēn shèngfù de duìshǒu zhī zhēng — The two teams are evenly matched; it's a contest where it's hard to tell who will win.
