1. lenient; tolerant; indulgent; charitable

   他对学生很宽容，犯了错也经常给机会改正。 tā duì xuéshēng hěn kuānróng fànlecuò yě jīngcháng gěi jīhuì gǎizhèng — He is very lenient with students; when they make mistakes he often gives them a chance to correct them.

2. to forgive; to pardon

   他宽容了她的错误，没有再追究下去。 tā kuānróng le tā de cuòwù méiyǒu zài zhuījiū xiàqù — He forgave her mistake and did not pursue it further.
