   这种可能性确实存在。 zhèzhǒng kěnéngxìng quèshí cúnzài — This possibility does indeed exist.

2. to deposit (money); to put aside

   他把工资的一部分存进了银行。 tā bǎ gōngzī de yībùfèn cún jìn le yínháng — He deposited part of his salary in the bank.

3. to store; to put in storage

   我们需要把这些文件存档保存起来。 wǒmen xūyào bǎ zhèxiē wénjiàn cúndàng bǎocúnqǐlái — We need to archive and store these documents.

4. to keep; to retain; to remain as is

   请你把这份记录存好，不要丢失。 qǐng nǐ bǎ zhèfèn jìlù cún hǎo búyào diūshī — Please keep this record safe; don't lose it.

5. to survive; to remain alive
