   他的文章里夹杂着许多外文引用，读起来有些杂乱。 tā de wénzhāng lǐ jiāzázhe xǔduō wàiwén yǐnyòng dú qǐlái yǒuxiē záluàn — His article contains many foreign-language quotations, making it read somewhat messy.

2. a mixture; a mingling; an admixture

   样品中有许多夹杂，使得纯度降低。 yàngpǐn zhōng yǒu xǔduō jiāzá shǐde chúndù jiàngdī — There are many admixtures in the sample, reducing its purity.
