   他在街上大声呼救。 tā zài jiēshàng dàshēng hūjiù — He called out for help loudly on the street.

2. to breathe out; to exhale

   他深深地吸气，然后慢慢地呼出。 tā shēnshēndì xīqì ránhòu mànmàn dì hūchū — He took a deep breath and then slowly exhaled.
