   我们先开会，后来再讨论这个问题。 wǒmen xiān kāihuì hòulái zài tǎolùn zhège wèntí — We'll have the meeting first, and discuss this issue later.

2. newly arrived (person); having arrived only recently

   他是后来才来的学生。 tā shì hòulái cái lái de xuéshēng — He was a student who arrived later.
