   他是我的同行，我们经常交换行业信息。 tā shì wǒ de tóngháng wǒmen jīngcháng jiāohuàn hángyè xìnxī — He is a colleague in the same industry; we often exchange industry information.

2. of the same trade or occupation

   参会者大多是金融界的同行。 cānhuìzhě dàduō shì jīnróngjiè de tóngháng — Most attendees are peers from the financial sector.
