   两台仪器在时间上要保持同步。 liǎngtái yíqì zài shíjiān shàng yào bǎochí tóngbù — The two pieces of equipment must remain synchronous in time.

2. to synchronize; to coordinate timing or actions (to keep step with)

   我们需要把资料库跟伺服器同步。 wǒmen xūyào bǎ zīliàokù gēn cìfúqì tóngbù — We need to synchronize the database with the server.
