剂 — jì

1. a prepared chemical or medicinal product; preparation (bound form, used in compounds, e.g. 药剂)

   这种消炎剂用了三种不同的成分。 zhèzhǒng xiāoyánjì yòng le sānzhǒng bùtóng de chéngfèn — This anti-inflammatory preparation uses three different ingredients.

2. a small piece of dough cut from a rolled log for making mantou (steamed buns) or dumplings (bound form)

   做饺子时把面团分成一剂一剂，擀成皮。 zuò jiǎozi shí bǎ miàntuán fēnchéng yījì yījì gǎn chéng pí — When making dumplings, divide the dough into pieces and roll them into wrappers.
