1. to begin an undertaking; to start an enterprise

   他决定在三年内创业。 tā juédìng zài sānnián nèi chuàngyè — He decided to start a business within three years.

2. entrepreneurship (the activity or process of starting new businesses)

   政府出台政策支持创业。 zhèngfǔ chūtái zhèngcè zhīchí chuàngyè — The government introduced policies to support entrepreneurship.
