1. to bring together; to assemble (things)

   他把资料凑合在一起，做成了一份报告。 tā bǎ zīliào còu hézàiyìqǐ zuòchéng le yīfèn bàogào — He gathered the materials together and produced a report.

2. to make do; to improvise; to get by in a difficult situation

   手机坏了，先用旧的凑合一下吧。 shǒujī huài le xiānyòng jiù de còuhé yīxià ba — My phone is broken; use the old one for now and make do.

3. passable; adequate; not too bad

   这件衣服凑合，先穿着吧。 zhèjiàn yīfú còuhé xiān chuānzhe ba — This piece of clothing is passable; wear it for now.
