凉 — liáng

  1. cool; cold; chilly; to feel cold or let cool down

    今天天气很凉，多穿一件衣服。 jīntiāntiānqì hěnliáng duō chuān yījiàn yīfú — It is cool today; put on an extra layer.

  2. The Five Liang states of the Sixteen Kingdoms period: Former Liang (前凉, 314–376), Later Liang (后凉, 386–403), Northern Liang (北凉, 398–439), Southern Liang (南凉, 397–414), Western Liang (西凉, 400–421).

    南凉在397年建立，属于十六国时期的一支。 nánliáng zài 3 9 7 nián jiànlì shǔyú shíliù guó shíqī de yīzhī — Southern Liang was established in 397 and was one of the states of the Sixteen Kingdoms period.
