1. determination; resolution

   她下定了决心，要出国留学。 tā xiàdìng le juéxīn yào chūguó liúxué — She made up her mind to study abroad.

2. determined; firm and resolute

   他看起来很有决心，准备面对所有困难。 tā kànqǐlái hěn yǒu juéxīn zhǔnbèi miànduì suǒyǒu kùnnán — He looks determined and ready to face all difficulties.

3. to make up one's mind; to resolve to do something

   经过反复考虑，他终于决心辞职。 jīngguò fǎnfù kǎolǜ tā zhōngyú juéxīn cízhí — After much consideration, he finally decided to resign.
