1. ice (frozen water)

   杯子里有冰块。 bēizi lǐ yǒu bīngkuài — There are ice cubes in the glass.

2. to chill something (make cold); to put on ice

   把饮料冰一下再喝比较好。 bǎ yǐnliào bīng yīxià zài hē bǐjiào hǎo — Chill the drink for a bit before drinking; it'll be better.

3. (of an object or substance) cold to the touch; (of a person) emotionally cold, unfriendly

   他的态度很冰，让人不敢靠近。 tā de tàidù hěn bīng ràng rén bùgǎn kàojìn — His attitude is very cold, making people reluctant to approach.

4. (slang) methamphetamine

   他因为贩卖冰被警方逮捕。 tā yīnwèi fànmài bīng bèi jǐngfāng dàibǔ — He was arrested by the police for selling 'ice' (meth).
