   我最近开始注意饮食和作息，注重养生。 wǒ zuìjìn kāishǐ zhùyì yǐnshí hé zuòxī zhùzhòng yǎngshēng — I've recently started paying attention to my diet and schedule, focusing on maintaining my health.

2. to rear or raise (a child or an animal)

   农场里他们饲养生猪，喂的是有机饲料。 nóngchǎng lǐ tāmen sìyǎng shēngzhū wèi de shì yǒujī sìliào — On the farm they raise pigs and feed them organic fodder.

3. to cure or allow to cure (e.g., concrete, plaster)

   施工队正在给新浇的混凝土养生，防止开裂。 shīgōngduì zhèngzài gěi xīn jiāo de hùnníngtǔ yǎngshēng fángzhǐ kāiliè — The construction crew is curing the newly poured concrete to prevent cracking.
